Great for Spanish and Italian translation also to take a quick photo
I use it for taking videos while riding bikes, hiking or to take a quick photo without having to grab your camera since the glasses are always on your head. You can just hit the button to the left to take a photo or ask it videos are also very smooth since your body and head act as a gimbal smoothing out the videoI was amazed how the Spanish two English translation AI app function. It was almost like I knew a second language.. also Italian worked extremely well

Great product, happy with it.
When it came to using the glasses, I loved them. It connected to my phone and played all it’s audio from it and it had its own AI (Though it felt not as sophisticated as some of the AI chat bots but that could have been my signal that night) that would answer questions or do commands for me. I think its so sick. My only hiccup with the glasses was the battery life. I took them to Halloween horror nights and it they died within 4 hours. Luckily they charged decently fast and I was able to charge them throughout the lines. That was with basically constant recordings though the quality of the images was fantastic. Personal note though, I have bangs (kinda) and sometimes the camera would be blocked by my hair so be aware of that.

My Meta glasses just got even better – double the battery life from my Gen 1’s
I had the Gen 1 version of the Meta Ray-Ban glasses for over a year. I bought the prescription, transition lenses for them. My biggest complaint was battery duration. The Gen 2 is double the battery life of Gen 1. I’ve had the Gen 2’s for over a month and I really like them. My biggest complaint is that the announce volume can’t be turned down. The pictures, headphones, microphones and integration with my mobile phone are awesome. My favorite time using these glasses is when I’m on vacation. Ask Meta what I’m looking at and I have a personal guide with me “on demand”. I use my Meta glasses every day and I love them.

‼️Livestream capabilities removed.
I bought the Gen 2 glasses because I wanted to livestream and document my fitness journey hands-free. I was shocked to find out that live streaming isn’t even available, a fact that Meta never publicly came and mentioned. And what’s crazy is this has been happening since July. I had to search through forums just to confirm that this important feature is completely missing, with not a word from Meta about it. To make matters worse, word is they’re planning to do the same and remove streaming capabilities from the Gen 1 glasses as well. I’m returning mine and won’t be recommending these to anyone looking to livestream their experiences. Meta really dropped the ball here.

The Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Gen 2 is a perfect blend of style and smart tech. Battery Performance Less than expected
I really like the glasses. I have 2 gen 1’s and now this gen 2. But here is where I am not happy. The headline marketing is 3K video and 8 hr battery life. Under the headlines they say the 8 hrs is for typical normal use. But they do not define that in much detail. I was expecting 8hrs worth of 3K. The 3K videos are better than the 1080P in the general 1’s. I found that you can only get 8 hrs if you leave the setting at 1080p and go very lightly in the other uses. If you take all your 3 min videos in 3K, listen to music for more than an hour, ask meta a few questions you will get 3-4 hours. I will probably buy another so that I can charge one while I use the other. That is the only way I can use all the features and the 3K video over the course of a day.

Great pov videos but poor battery life
So coming from someone that only bought this cause all my coworkers have one and I haven’t done any research.The video quality isnt great but it has allowed me to get pov pictures and pov videos of my kids very easily and honestly that s should be 5 stars by itself. But battery life makes it hard to really enjoy thisThe battery life last only about 4 videos. I haven’t really tested out how long it will last if I was to just use it for music.

Amazing Rayban meta glasses
Functionality is amazing easy to work just ask meta what to do and it responds .. looks really good… battery life is good as long as you not constantly recording but if you are just bring your charging case … great value for the money

Bad representation
First off..the box came opened already…i thought that I purchased a brand new item. So my mental health has me to assume that someone swapped a faulty pair with a super functioning working pair? I have no comparison, but I was on the fence with getting the woojer vest, the Luma display glasses, and these..I ended up getting these because of the 3k camera quality sold..also I saw something about a visual display, but I didn’t read deep enough to know the generation 2 doesn’t have that. So I really got these for the camera to do video editing. The quality is awesome so I’m giving it a star for that. Near sighted quality kind of lacks as you have no control over the focus. So everything you see doesn’t exactly translate the same. I had something close to the camera hoping to get that high quality close up, but it just ended up being smaller and not so clear. They are ray bans and they look cool..so another star for that…now for what they don’t tell you…1. First full charge I recorded 5 3k videos and the battery died. Later I learned that there are a lot of background activities which overheated the unit forcing it to cool down before using again. You have to turn everything off that runs automatically. Also don’t bother using the 3k video recording which is literally the whole reason for the price increase and why I bought it..it just kills the battery and if you aren’t uploading immediately to manage storage but you’ll see the problem later.2. If you edit videos on your phone or have a lot of memory being used on your phone, then you’re forced to sacrifice apps, and videos, to make space to import. I have 40+ videos that need to be imported off of the glasses, but since I don’t have 42 gigs free on my phone, it won’t import. Why 42 gigs you ask? I guess every video taken eats up a good gigabyte. They don’t allow you to delete and import selected videos..you have to import everything in bulk. Being that I accumulated 42 videos and didn’t import them because, yes the phone died and I had to charge it in order to import…now I’m stuck deleting and backing up media to make space on the iPhone. I’ve only been able to free up 28 gigs and I still need to free up 20 more…I’m just deleting everything at this point just to get my media off the glasses but I need everything I’m deleting. So that’s a problem I didn’t want to pay for.3. AI…if you use ChatGPT do NOT get these glasses for the meta Ai…lol I have only been this frustrated communicating with a stone wall drunk girlfriend…ChatGPT’s voice recognition, and comprehension is light years ahead of this $400 device. I get it the camera is why it’s so expensive..but the limitation significantly lowers the value…back to the META AI…it cuts you off before hearing everything, it doesn’t recognize anything not of wealthy popularity..and it gets queries wrong to where you have to stop it and repeat yourself often. I’m no rock mouth mumbler. I enunciate very well. Talking to ChatGPT feels as organic as talking to a knowledgeable human which can answer anything…META AI acts very dumb…being that it’s AI I wonder why… so I’m not sure if I got refurbished glasses, demo glasses, or someone swapped them out since the box arrived opened. I didn’t get to break the lid tab because someone already did it…why? That’s a question a neurodivergent like myself forces themself to not think about..I wouldn’t doubt spyware being involved to be honest…but it’s very bothersome.3. The Bluetooth speakers are really good actually. So good that when I was watching a video I couldn’t tell if the person next to me was talking to me or if it was just in the video. The audio quality is a selling point but these are ai camera glasses and not Bosse headphones. The audio quality is the only thing that has not presented a challenge. In the future I will review testimonials on YouTube before impulsively supporting a product based on its track record. I assumed full greatness due to having the Meta Quest 3…I wish I had bought the Luna display glasses or the cheaper version of these Ai camera glasses. I don’t think it’s worth the money..to be honest.4. Lastly it charges fast…and the battery dies fast. If importing videos then the battery dies at 1-3% each minute. So you should keep it docked when able to import. If you don’t record then you can get a good amount of hours in with the Bluetooth audio. That’s pretty much what they are to me now as I’m not able to import videos until i have enough space on my phone…But again, the ai is not as thorough and intelligent as ChatGPT or copilot even…so it’s really basic AI that’s only as helpful as Wikipedia is for the most part. ChatGPT ai can figure out what I’m talking about even when speaking long with numerous details and can confirm everything. Meta AI only gives you a certain amount of time before cutting you off and answering something irrelevant to what’s being asked.Oh..they fit very well too…if that matters..

Great for Vlogging but functions limited based on location
This should come with a label saying most functions not available in all countries. Purchased thinking there was a visual display. My bad for assuming. They are just nice sunglasses with a meta AI built in. Best functions would be the camera and handsfree recording. The image quality is great and I love the convenience. The cost not so much but hey, you are paying for the brand. Highly recommend for the avid photo taker or active vlogger. These are pretty good for that purpose.
